Cuetec’s Cynergy carbon composite is constructed from multiple layers of resin-impregnated military-grade unidirectional carbon fibers. Each fiber is 7 um (0.007 mm) in diameter, or about one-twelfth of a human hair. The orientation of the carbon fibers is critical to achieving optimal strength, durability, and performance. During the heat treatment process, each of these specifically oriented fibers works together to ensure there is no net movement. The result is a perfectly straight and extremely strong shaft.
